Criss Cross has officially announced the signing of former De La Salle University standout Noel Kampton as it continues its quest to overcome perennial Spikers’ Turf champion Cignal, the club confirmed Saturday night.
Kampton will first suit up for the King Crunchers in the ongoing domestic season before heading to Thailand in December to join PSNKK Club for the 2025–26 Volleyball Thailand League.
Already boasting a powerful lineup featuring Marck Espejo, Jude Garcia, Nico Almendras, and Jaron Requinton, Criss Cross adds even more firepower with the addition of Kampton.
During his UAAP career, Kampton played a crucial role in transforming the Green Spikers from perennial also-rans into legitimate Final Four contenders. In his final season with La Salle, he emerged as the league’s top scorer with 274 points.
Kampton also led the Green Spikers to their first-ever V-League Collegiate Conference title two years ago, further cementing his reputation as one of the country's rising stars.
Criss Cross has finished as runner-up to Cignal HD in the past three Spikers’ Turf conferences, and the addition of Kampton could be the missing piece in their championship puzzle.
